Policy and Advocacy
Health Care for All NC is an educational non-profit organization, hence our central activities are largely those of advocacy and consciousness-raising around the issue of real universal health care (access for everyone) and the right to health care. There are many ways and many places in which we need to advocate and educate our fellow North Carolinians. Consider the suggestions on these linked pages and don't hesitate to suggest other ways to advocate, or to initiate some work locally yourself. If it's a project that could use additional effort, we probably have some more interested people in your local area. Ask our Executive Director.
If you want to do some writing look at our editorials and write a short letter to the editor of your own, to your local paper on this issue. You might also like to take a look at the "Key Health Care Facts" for one or two things to mention specifically in a short "letter to the editor".
See some of our other ideas for easy and local actions. Some of these you can take yourself, some involve meeting and working with other people in your town, city or county.
