Resolutions

Resolutions passed around the state on the "Right to Health Care" are an effective and feasible means of demonstrating support for the commitment to real universal health access (everyone included). State legislators in Raleigh need to see that support is present around their state -in each of their districts. Town, city and county resolutions are one way to demonstrate this. Passing a resolution on the Right to Health Care will not cost the city, town or county anything.

See examples of resolutions you can choose from and take to your local governing body. These can be modified as you wish in the section stateing the rationale ("Whereas Section"), but to be effective in accomplishing our goal for the state they need to be identical in terms of what is resolved "Now, Therefore" section. It is also important that you let us know about any efforts you are making to get such resolutions passed. Here we have downloadable versions available as PDF files (easiest to read and send around).
